Our Tailors & Artisans
Our products are designed by Lijana herself and brought to life by Bali tailors and artisans. We can proudly say that our production processes are responsible and ethical. We maintain a very close relationship with all our local tailors and artisans, and make sure that all processes are aligned with our brand. We are committed to giving our tailors and artisans opportunities to not only showcase their talent but also become a part of the Chara Holiday family. We are determined to contribute to our partners and find their success as important as our own.

Meet One of Our Lovely Tailors Zuki
Meet one of our lovely tailors Zuki. It has been 20 years since he started working as a tailor. Zuki’s story began when he was young and his family couldn’t afford to continue with schooling so he chose to take a sewing and pattern-making course for one year when he was just 15, he has been working in Bali ever since.
Lijana made one of her first designs with Zuki and she couldn’t believe the quality and his talent. It all started with just a few dresses. Each piece was and continues to be made with love. Chara Holiday was born in the hands of Zuki and his family. Zuki and his lovely wife Tria work from their little home studio and support their family & 3 little kids. They are a big part of the reason why the brand started. If we grow - they grow, is Lijana’s motivation.
Each one of our pieces takes an extensive amount of hours to make, from pattern making, to sowing everything is done by hand with attention to detail.

Meet Anna, our crochet queen!
A beach-loving, crochet-obsessed native of East Lombok, Ana grew up surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Lombok’s beaches and lush landscapes, always drawing inspiration from the world around her.
Her crochet journey began in elementary school when her mother first taught her the craft. What started as a simple childhood hobby quickly blossomed into a lifelong passion. Today, Ana creates intricate handmade treasures that effortlessly blend traditional crochet techniques with modern style.
Ana’s path took a serendipitous turn during the pandemic when she met Lijana, the founder of CH, on Nusa Lembongan Island. Lijana had a vision to open a boutique on the island, and when she saw Ana’s crochet talent, she knew they were the perfect duo.
Fast forward to today, and Ana is behind CH’s first-ever crochet dress in the collection (with many more to come!)
Through every stitch, Ana continues to pour her heart into her craft, creating pieces that reflect love, heritage, and a deep connection to her roots. Her work is a beautiful celebration of handmade artistry, and it’s an honor to witness her passion come to life with every piece she creates.
